She is currently a Controller for EMEAPAC at Rizing Ltd., where she oversees financial operations for multiple European entities, drives process improvements, and ensures strong internal controls. Her expertise includes financial reporting, audit compliance, budgeting, forecasting, and process automation.
With a background in aerospace, technology, and manufacturing, Karen has led financial transformation initiatives that have enhanced efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
She has extensive experience in implementing Sarbanes-Oxley-compliant controls, managing internal and external audits, and strengthening corporate governance. Her strategic approach includes implementing lean financial strategies to improve business performance, introducing internal control measures to mitigate financial risks, and developing training programs to upskill finance teams.
In addition to her ACCA qualification, Karen holds a Bachelor of Arts in French and German from the University of Limerick, a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration, and a Diploma in Management.
